THE BIRDS
HAVE VANISHED INTO THE SKY
AND NOW
THE LAST CLOUD DRAWS AWAY
WE SIT TOGETHER
THE MOUNTAIN AND ME
UNTIL ONLY
THE MOUNTAIN REMAINS
A poem by Li-Po.
written on a big sheet of Arches - with a found eagle feather - then cut into long narrow strips and folded into concertina books, adding pen drawings and collage elements
The poem made me think about beauty, impermanence and fragility
