| One day I saw a teenage girl tearing and burning papers in front of a store I was going into. When I came out of the store,
she had left a bag full of these torn papers by a trash can. As you well know, collage artists collect "trash/treasures" everywhere .... Of course, I picked up the bag, and I've used the papers in this series. It is a very sad tale because she is full of love, hate, boredom, and all the other huge emotions that girls at that age feel. The photo was made up in photoshop, it is not a real person. I particularly liked her drawing of "without you", I copied it and included it in all the collages. |
